Technical Presales Engineer

Do you have a background in software development and does contact with other people and dialogue about possible solutions motivate you? Would you like to provide expertise on the market’s most complete e-commerce platform and can you convert it to commercial advantages and opportunities? Hesehus is now looking to recruit a Technical Presales Engineer, to provide technical advice on our platform, Bizzkit, and to support our international clients and partners in sales and pre-analysis processes.

 

What are we offering?

Since 2002 Hesehus has delivered ambitious e-commerce solutions on Bizzkit, a software platform dedicated to serve e-commerce software houses. Today, the Bizzkit platform is one of the most widely used platforms among the largest companies with physical products in Denmark.  

We want to achieve that same position internationally and our ambitions are very high. We have recently started our international expansion of Bizzkit and have already signed several partner contracts on the Swedish market.

Therefore, we are currently looking to recruit a Technical Presales Engineer who will play a vital role as technical adviser and support the sales processes and pre-sales analysis for new Bizzkit partners on international markets. As a Technical Presales Engineer you will be responsible for providing relevant stakeholders with the necessary knowledge about Bizzkit´s products. This will include conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations.

Your task will be to build and ensure professional trust among software developers, solution architects, business executives, sales managers and daily users of the e-commerce platform. It will therefore be an important part of the position to draw on both your expertise in IT to communicate efficiently to people with technical backgrounds and at the same time be confident in “translating” technical definitions to other user groups. 

Concurrently with Bizzkit’s expansion, you must expect some travel activity, as the role supports presales on international markets.

Your primary tasks: 

  • Facilitate/ participate in meetings with potential and existing partners and customers on all markets throughout the whole pipeline process.
  • Super user in our product portfolio – able to create different types of demo both online and in physical meetings.
  • Continuous development of knowledge of the products and architecture.
  • Provide support to the country managers in the sales from Denmark (cases, sales processes etc.).
  • Communicate market information to the platform team.
  • Contribute to the optimization of the presales process so its scalable.
  • Coordinate internal resources (and more practical elements).

Who are you? 

You are or have been a software developer and therefore understands the processes in software development. Alternatively, you hold as a minimum a bachelor’ degree in business related field and have extensive experience in explaining the technical foundation of software products. Most importantly you understand both the technical and the commercial processes and have flair for presenting it pedagogically. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience from a similar position in an international company.

We have ambitious plans for our growth and therefore expect you to be able to advance with the company, take on the responsibility and have the capacity to work independently. 

As a person, you work in a structured manner and enjoy daily communication with many different types of people. You instil trust because your dialogue is based on knowledge, as you value to understand the products completely.

Last, but not least, you speak and write English fluently.
