100 Days from a Handshake to a Webshop

Wunderwear wants to become the largest lingerie chain in the Nordics. The new webshop is the first major stepping stone.

Lightning-fast lingerie

Wunderwear is a voluntary chain with 33 stores that fashion women in high‑quality underwear and lingerie. The ambition is to grow and become the largest lingerie chain in the Nordics. As part of this ambition, it was natural to upgrade the webshop so its quality matches the high level of ambition. Wunderwear contacted us, we shook hands, and about 100 days later, a fully furnished webshop was ready—servicing and drawing data from all Wunderwear stores.

Shopify provided shortcuts to go-live

Wunderwear’s new shop is built on Shopify Plus, and the process has been fast. The development even had to account for the implementation and integration of a new POS system at the same time. It was business‑critical that both systems worked seamlessly together and were ready when the shop went live. We solved the task collaboratively, and Shopify Plus proved perfectly adaptable for a voluntary chain where the stores’ own products are sold decentrally.

We had three months from the day we contacted Hesehus and asked: ‘Can you build a Shopify webshop for us?’. It was a big task, and that’s why we’re of course happy to say that we succeeded. So, big praise to the entire team at Hesehus for the fantastic effort.

Ready to scale – in both features and number of stores

Wunderwear’s new e-commerce solution is essentially a launchpad enabling them to execute on their ambitions. Together, we can easily expand the solution and scale as soon as the need arises. And development is set to move just as quickly as it did for the first step. You’ll see both new features and larger scale as soon as the next omnichannel capability is implemented.

Complete makeover

The new Shopify webshop allows Wunderwear to have a fully modern design that delivers the aesthetics and experience they want to give their customers. Wunderwear embraces all types of women—no matter what life stage they are in. The design has become more inclusive and welcoming on the surface, but also in the parts that aren’t immediately visible. We have significantly improved web accessibility and made the site easier to use by focusing on ensuring good accessibility for everyone.
